Setup
Follow these steps to set up your Thrustmaster F-16C Viper HOTAS Add-On Grip:
1. Unpacking and Inspection
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect the grip for any signs of damage. Ensure all listed items in the "What's in the Box" section are present.

2. Attaching the Grip to a Compatible Base
The F-16C Viper HOTAS Add-On Grip is compatible with Thrustmaster's HOTAS Cougar, HOTAS Warthog, and HOTAS Magnetic Base (sold separately). Align the connector on the bottom of the grip with the port on your chosen base and gently push down until it clicks into place. Secure the grip by rotating the locking ring at the base of the grip clockwise until it is tight.

3. Connecting to PC
Connect the USB cable from your HOTAS base to an available USB port on your PC. The system should automatically detect the device. For optimal performance and customization, it is recommended to download and install the latest drivers and the Thrustmaster Advanced pRogramming Graphical EdiTor (T.A.R.G.E.T.) software from the official Thrustmaster website.
Operating Instructions
The F-16C Viper HOTAS Add-On Grip is designed for intuitive control in flight simulation games. It features 19 action buttons, including two 8-way hat switches, one 4-way hat switch with push button, one metal trigger, two push buttons, and two pinkie push buttons. It also includes one 8-way “point of view” hat switch.
