5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your CL01PTZ controller, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Controller Not Powering On:
- Ensure the DC 12V power adapter is securely connected to both the controller and a working power outlet.
- Verify the power outlet is functional.
- Camera Not Responding:
- Check that the correct camera (CAM 1-7) is selected on the controller.
- Verify all connection cables (RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, LAN) between the controller and the camera are securely connected.
- Ensure the camera's control protocol settings (e.g., VISCA, Pelco-D/P, baud rate, address) match the controller's configuration.
- Restart both the controller and the camera.
- Joystick or Buttons Not Functioning:
- Ensure the controller is powered on and a camera is selected.
- If specific buttons are unresponsive, try restarting the controller.
- Image Quality Issues (Focus, Exposure, White Balance):
- Ensure the camera is not in an automatic mode that overrides manual adjustments. Switch to manual mode if necessary.
