5. Setup and Installation

This kit features a plug-and-play T-Harness design, significantly simplifying the installation process. Basic knowledge of car electronics is recommended.

5.1. Preparation

  • Gather necessary tools (e.g., pry tool, small wrench/socket set).
  • Ensure the vehicle's battery is disconnected before starting any electrical work.
  • Locate the OBD-II port and relevant wiring harnesses under the dashboard as indicated in the detailed instructions provided with your kit.

5.2. Installation Steps

  1. Disconnect the factory harness from the OBD-II port.

6. Operating Instructions

To operate your MPC Remote Start Kit, use your vehicle's factory key fob:

6.1. Remote Starting Your Vehicle

  1. Ensure all doors are closed and locked.
  2. Press the LOCK button on your factory key fob three (3) times consecutively.
  3. The vehicle's parking lights will flash, and the engine will start.
  4. The engine will run for a preset duration (typically 15 minutes) or until you enter the vehicle and turn the ignition on.

6.2. Turning Off the Engine Remotely

To turn off the engine after a remote start, simply press the LOCK button on your factory key fob three (3) times consecutively again, or press the brake pedal once you are inside the vehicle.

  • After First Year: Warranty issues must be handled directly through the manufacturer. A receipt from the original purchase will be required.

The product is warranted to the end user, when properly installed and under normal conditions of use, to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one year from the provided date of purchase, to the original purchaser. This warranty does not cover abuse, operation inconsistent with the product's design, or damage from environmental exposure. If a defect is considered "under warranty," MyPushcart will, at its option, repair or replace the product free of charge.
