Important Safety Instructions

WARNING: Steam is extremely hot and can cause severe burns. Always exercise caution when operating this appliance.

  • Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet when not in use and before performing any maintenance.
  • Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is plugged in or operating.
  • Keep the appliance out of reach of children and pets.
  • Do not direct steam at people, animals, or electrical appliances.
  • Ensure the water tank cap is securely fastened before operation.
  • Allow the appliance to heat completely before use to ensure consistent steam output and prevent water spray. The internal temperature reaches approximately 230°F (110°C).
  • After use, do not attempt to open the water tank cap immediately. The residual steam inside the tank is still under high pressure and temperature. First, unplug the unit, then invert the steam cleaner and press the steam release button to fully release any remaining steam. Only then can the cap be safely opened.
  • To prevent the lid from becoming difficult to open over time, loosen the cap by one turn after each use once the unit has cooled and depressurized.
  • Use only clean tap water. Distilled or demineralized water is recommended to prevent mineral buildup.
  • Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
  • Inspect the power cord and plug for damage before each use. Do not operate if damaged.

Setup Guide

  1. Prepare the Unit: Ensure the steam cleaner is unplugged and completely cool before adding water.
  2. Fill Water Tank: Unscrew the safety cap. Use the provided measuring cup and funnel to fill the water tank with up to 350 milliliters (approximately 11.8 fluid ounces) of clean tap water. Do not overfill. Distilled or demineralized water is recommended to prolong the life of the appliance and prevent mineral buildup.
  3. Secure Cap: Screw the safety cap back on tightly.
  4. Attach Accessory: Select the appropriate accessory for your cleaning task and securely attach it to the nozzle.
  5. Power On: Plug the steam cleaner into a grounded electrical outlet. The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the unit is heating.
  6. Heat Up: Allow 3-5 minutes for the unit to heat up and build sufficient steam pressure. The indicator light may turn off once the optimal temperature is reached, or it may cycle on and off during operation to maintain temperature.

Operating Instructions

  1. Steam Release: Once heated, press the steam release button to emit steam. For continuous steam, some models may have a lock feature on the button.
  2. Cleaning Surfaces: Direct the steam nozzle towards the surface you wish to clean. Hold the nozzle close to the surface for optimal cleaning. The high-pressure steam (3 BAR) can spray up to 3.9 feet (1.2 meters).
  3. Effective Cleaning Tips:
    • For stubborn dirt or grime, use a brush attachment and scrub while applying steam.
    • Wipe away loosened dirt and moisture with a clean cloth immediately after steaming.
    • For delicate surfaces, test a small, inconspicuous area first.
    • The steam cleaner is suitable for various surfaces including windows, stoves, floor gaps, grout and tile, fabric and upholstery (avoid direct contact with real leather sofas), kids' toys, sinks, BBQ grills, toilets, shower curtains, car seats and rims, and wallpaper.
  4. Water Refill: The unit can continuously emit steam for 8-12 minutes on a full tank. When steam production decreases or stops, unplug the unit and follow the safety instructions for opening the cap before refilling.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your steam cleaner.

  1. After Each Use:
    • Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely.
    • Release any residual steam as described in the safety instructions.
    • Empty any remaining water from the tank.
    • Wipe the exterior body of the handheld pressurized steam cleaner with a damp cloth.
    • Dry the interior liner and wipe the cap if not used for a long time.
    • Loosen the cap by one turn after each use to prevent it from becoming difficult to open due to pressure changes or mineral buildup.
  2. Storage: Store the steam cleaner in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children.
  3. Descaling (if necessary): If you notice reduced steam output or mineral buildup, descale the unit using a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water. Fill the tank, heat the unit, and release steam until the tank is empty. Rinse thoroughly with clean water afterward.

Troubleshooting

Problem: Steam cleaner sprays water instead of steam.
Solution: This typically occurs if the unit has not fully heated. Ensure you wait the full 3-5 minutes for the first heating cycle to complete before pressing the steam button. If used for a short time, it's normal for the internal temperature to reach 230°F (110°C), at which point the temperature control will activate for protection. Continuous heating without temperature control would damage internal components.
Problem: Cannot open the water tank cap after use.
Solution: The temperature of the residual steam inside the tank is still too high. Follow these steps: 1. Unplug the unit. 2. Invert the steam cleaner, then keep pressing the steam release button to fully release the steam. 3. Once depressurized and cooled, the lid can be opened safely.
Problem: Lid is difficult to open after being left for a long time.
Solution: To prevent this, loosen the cap by one turn after each use once the unit has cooled and depressurized. This helps prevent any vacuum or minor mineral buildup from sealing the cap too tightly.
Problem: No steam or very little steam is being produced.
Solution: Check if the unit is plugged in and powered on. Ensure the water tank has sufficient water. Allow adequate time for the unit to heat up (3-5 minutes). If the issue persists, the unit may require descaling if mineral buildup is present.
