4. Setup

4.1 Attaching/Changing Lenses

1. Select the desired magnification lens (1.5X, 2.5X, 3.5X, or 5X) from the storage case.
2. Align the tabs on the lens with the slots on the magnifier frame.
3. Gently push the lens into place until it clicks securely. To remove, gently pull the lens outwards from the frame.

4.2 Attaching the Head Strap

For extended use or a more secure fit, you can attach the included head strap:

1. Locate the small holes on the ends of the magnifier frame arms.
2. Thread the ends of the head strap through these holes and secure them.
3. Adjust the strap for a comfortable and snug fit around your head.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Using the LED Lights

The magnifier is equipped with two LED lights for illumination:

• Press the power switch located on the side of the frame once to turn on the lights at the first brightness level.
• Press the switch a second time for the brighter second level.
• Press the switch a third time to turn off the lights.
• The angle of the LED lights can be adjusted to direct illumination precisely where needed.

5.2 Charging the Battery

The built-in lithium polymer battery is rechargeable:

1. Locate the micro USB charging port on the side of the magnifier frame.
2. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the port.
3. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible USB power source (e.g., USB wall charger, computer, power bank).
4. A full charge typically takes approximately 1 hour. The charging indicator light will change to show charging status.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning Lenses: Use the provided cleaning cloth to gently wipe the lenses. For stubborn smudges, a small amount of lens cleaning solution can be applied to the cloth, then wipe the lenses. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
• Storage: When not in use, store the lenses in their protective case to prevent scratches. Keep the magnifier in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in constant use.

7. Troubleshooting

• LED Lights Not Working: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the USB cable and allow it to charge for at least 15 minutes before attempting to turn on the lights again.
• Magnification Not Clear: Verify that the correct lens is securely attached and clean. Adjust the distance between your eyes and the object being viewed to find the optimal focal length for the selected lens.
• Uncomfortable Fit: Adjust the frame arms and nose pads for a better fit. If using the head strap, ensure it is adjusted to a comfortable tension.
