2.3 Sensor Placement
For accurate outdoor temperature readings, place the wireless sensor in a shaded, dry location, protected from direct sunlight and precipitation. Ensure it is within the 60-meter wireless range of the main display unit.
2.4 Initial Synchronization
After inserting batteries into both units, the main display unit will automatically search for the outdoor sensor signal. This process may take a few minutes. Once connected, the outdoor temperature will appear on the display.
2.5 Time and Location Settings
The weather station features a radio-controlled clock for precise timekeeping. It will automatically set the time and date. For accurate sunrise, sunset, and moon phase calculations, you may need to manually set your geographical location. Refer to the detailed instructions in the full manual for specific steps on setting your location from the 150 pre-programmed European cities.

3.2 Key Functions
- Maximum and Minimum Values: The station records and allows you to view the highest and lowest temperatures and humidity levels.
- Temperature Trend: Arrows indicate whether outdoor temperature is rising, falling, or stable.
- Air Pressure Trend: Indicates changes in atmospheric pressure, contributing to the weather forecast.
- Alarm Clock: Set up to two independent alarm times with a snooze function.
- Backlight: Activate the blue backlight for easy viewing in low-light conditions.
3.3 Connecting Additional Sensors
The weather station supports up to two additional wireless outdoor sensors (sold separately, Cat. No. 30.3242.02). This allows you to monitor temperatures in different areas, such as a child's room or basement.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Battery Replacement
When the battery indicator appears on the display, replace the batteries in the respective unit (main station or sensor). Always replace all batteries in a unit at the same time with new, high-quality alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types.
4.2 Cleaning
Clean the weather station and sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the display or casing. Avoid exposing the units to excessive dust or dirt.
5. Troubleshooting
- No Outdoor Temperature Display: Ensure the outdoor sensor is within range and has fresh batteries. Press the reset button on both units if necessary to re-establish connection.
- Incorrect Readings: Verify that the sensor is placed in a suitable location, away from direct heat sources or extreme cold.
- Radio Clock Not Synchronizing: Ensure the main unit is placed away from electronic interference and near a window for better signal reception. Manual time setting is available if automatic synchronization fails.
- Display Issues: Check battery levels. If the display is faint or incomplete, replace batteries.
