4. Installation
4.1. Measurement Guide
Accurate measurements are crucial for proper fit and function. Determine whether you will use an inside mount (within the window frame) or an outside mount (outside the window frame).

Figure 4.1: General Measurement Guidelines for Inside and Outside Mounts.
Inside Mount:
- Measure the exact width of the window opening at three points (top, middle, bottom) and use the smallest measurement. Subtract 0.1 inch for the order width.
- Measure the exact height of the window opening at three points (left, middle, right) and use the smallest measurement for the order height.
- Ensure a minimum window depth of 1.87 inches (4.7 cm) is available for flush mounting. If the depth is less than 2 3/4 inches, the valance may extend beyond the window frame.
Outside Mount:
- Measure the desired width and height to be covered, typically adding 1-6 inches to the window width and height for optimal light blockage and privacy.
- The order width and height will be your desired coverage dimensions.
4.2. Mounting the Shades
- Mark the positions for the mounting brackets according to your chosen mount type (inside or outside). Ensure the marks are level.
- Drill pilot holes at the marked locations.
- Secure the mounting brackets using the provided screws.
- Carefully attach the shade headrail to the installed brackets. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
- Connect the hardwired motor to the power supply.
4.3. Large Window Solutions
For windows exceeding the maximum width of a single shade, multiple blinds can be installed side-by-side.

5. Setup
5.1. Hardwired Motor Connection
