2. Setup and Initial Use

Your Antonki thermometer is designed for quick and easy setup. Each unit comes with a CR2032 button battery already installed.

2.1 Powering On and Calibration

• Upon receiving, simply remove any protective film from the screen.
• The device will automatically power on and begin displaying readings.
• Allow 3-5 minutes for the device's reading to stabilize and provide a value closest to your room's actual air conditions.

2.2 Selecting Temperature Unit (℉/℃)

• To switch between Fahrenheit (℉) and Celsius (℃), locate the small button on the back of the unit.
• Press this button once to toggle the temperature unit.

2.3 Placement Options

The Antonki thermometer offers versatile placement:

• Kickstand: Utilize the durable kickstand on the back to place the unit upright on any flat surface, such as a bedside table, desk, or counter.
• Magnetic: The strong magnets on the back allow you to securely attach the unit to metal surfaces, like a refrigerator or a magnetic board.
• Hanging: A small hole on the back allows for hanging the unit on a wall hook or nail.

Once set up, the Antonki thermometer continuously monitors and displays the current temperature and humidity levels. The large digital display ensures easy readability from various angles and distances.

3.1 Reading the Display

• The upper number indicates the temperature in your selected unit (℉ or ℃).
• The lower number indicates the relative humidity (RH%) percentage.
• An icon (wet, OK, dry) provides a quick visual indicator of humidity comfort levels.

3.2 Accuracy and Monitoring

The device features separate sensors for temperature and humidity, ensuring accurate readings. It continuously updates, providing reliable data for your environment.
