2. Important Safety Information

4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to properly install your window air conditioner:
- Window Preparation: Ensure your window is at least 18.5 inches high and has a width between 28 inches (minimum) and 40.5 inches (maximum). The window must allow for clear airflow from the back of the unit.
- Attach Top Rail: Screw the top rail to the air conditioner unit using the four provided screws.
- Install Accordion Panels: Free the open end of each accordion panel and slide it into the unit. Then, slide the top and bottom rails into place to secure them. Repeat for both panels.
- Position the Unit: Firmly grip the air conditioner and carefully place it into the window opening. Ensure it is level and securely seated.
- Seal Openings: If needed, cut the window sash seal foam and insert it into the cracks of the window sashes to prevent air leakage. Additional seal tape can be used to secure any remaining openings after assembly.
- Power Connection: Plug the unit directly into a dedicated 230-volt, 20-amp electrical outlet (NEMA 6-15P plug type). The cable length is approximately 6.5 feet.

Cleaning the Air Filter
The "Check Filter" alert will illuminate to remind you when it's time to clean the mesh filter. A clean filter is crucial for efficient airflow and cooling performance.
- Carefully remove the mesh air filter from the unit.
- Wash the filter under running water or use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris.
- Allow the filter to dry completely before re-installing it into the unit.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your air conditioner, refer to the common problems and solutions below:
- Unit does not turn on:
- Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a dedicated 230V outlet.
- Check your home's circuit breaker or fuse box.
- Verify the unit's power button is pressed and the timer is not set to off.

- Check if the air filter is clean and not obstructed.
- Ensure windows and doors in the room are closed to prevent warm air entry.
- Verify the temperature setting is lower than the room temperature.
