4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

4.2 Placement

  • Place the unit on a flat, stable surface.
  • Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper airflow (at least 20cm from walls or furniture).
  • Position the unit near a power outlet.

4.3 Power Connection

  • Connect the power cable to the unit's power input.
  • Plug the power cable into a grounded 220-240V~ 50Hz electrical outlet.
  • The unit can also be powered via a USB power bank for portable use (ensure the power bank meets the unit's power requirements).

4.4 Filling the Water Tank

  1. Locate the water tank cap on the top of the unit.
  2. Open the cap and carefully pour clean water into the tank. Do not overfill.
  3. For enhanced cooling, you may use chilled water.
  4. Close the water tank cap securely.

5. Operating Instructions

The Sona SACN-6266 can be operated using the touch screen control panel on the unit or the provided remote control.

5.1 Power On/Off

  • Press the Power button on the control panel or remote control to turn the unit on or off.

5.2 Adjusting Fan Speed

  • Press the Speed button repeatedly to cycle through High, Medium, and Low fan speeds.

5.3 Cooling and Dehumidification

  • To activate the cooling and humidifying function, ensure the water tank is filled. Press the Cool or Humidify button. The unit will begin to release cool mist.
  • To adjust the cooling intensity, you can change the fan speed.

5.4 Oscillation

  • Press the Oscillation button to activate the up-down oscillation feature, which helps distribute air more widely. Press again to stop.

5.5 Timer Function

  • Press the Timer button to set the desired operating duration (up to 24 hours). Each press typically increases the time by one hour.

5.6 LED Lights

  • The unit features LED lights. Use the dedicated Light button on the control panel or remote to cycle through different light modes or turn them off.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your air conditioner.

6.1 Cleaning the Washable Filter

  1. Unplug the air conditioner from the power outlet.
  2. Locate the washable filter (typically at the back or side of the unit).
  3. Gently remove the filter.
  4. Rinse the filter under running water to remove dust and debris. For stubborn dirt, use a soft brush and mild detergent.
