- Outdoor Sensor:
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the outdoor sensor.
- Insert 2x AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
- Main Unit:
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the main unit.
- Insert 3x AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
It is recommended to insert batteries into the outdoor sensor first, then the main unit, to ensure proper synchronization.
5.2 Sensor Placement
- Main Unit: Place the main unit indoors in a central location, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or vents that could affect temperature readings.
- Outdoor Sensor:
- Mount the outdoor sensor in a shaded area, protected from direct rain and sunlight, which can cause inaccurate readings.
- Ensure the sensor is within the wireless range of the main unit (typically up to 30 meters in open air, less with obstructions).
- Avoid placing it near large metal objects or electrical appliances that could interfere with the wireless signal.
5.3 Initial Synchronization
After installing batteries in both units, the main unit will automatically search for the outdoor sensor. The outdoor temperature and humidity should appear on the main unit's display within a few minutes. If not, try the following:
- Press and hold the "CH" button on the main unit for a few seconds to initiate a manual search.
- Ensure both units are within close proximity during initial setup.
- Check battery levels in both units.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Setting Time and Date
- Press and hold the "C/F SET" button for approximately 3 seconds to enter time/date setting mode. The display will flash.
- Use the "Up" or "Down" arrow buttons to adjust the flashing value (e.g., hour, minute, year, month, day).
- Press "C/F SET" again to confirm the setting and move to the next parameter.
- Repeat until all settings (time, year, month, day) are configured.
- Press "C/F SET" one last time or wait for 15 seconds for the unit to exit setting mode automatically.
6.2 Switching Temperature Units (Celsius/Fahrenheit)

6.3 Viewing Min/Max Records
The weather station records the minimum and maximum indoor/outdoor temperature and humidity values since the last reset.
- Briefly press the "MEM" button to display the maximum recorded values (MAX).
- Press "MEM" again to display the minimum recorded values (MIN).
- Press "MEM" a third time to return to the current readings.
- To clear the Min/Max records, press and hold the "MEM" button for approximately 3 seconds while MAX or MIN values are displayed.
6.4 Weather Forecast
The weather station analyzes atmospheric pressure changes to predict weather conditions for the next 12-24 hours. The animated icons on the display represent:
- Sunny: Clear skies.
- Partly Cloudy: Some clouds, but generally fair.
- Cloudy: Overcast skies.
- Rainy: Precipitation expected.
Note: Weather forecasts are estimates and may not always be 100% accurate. They are based on atmospheric pressure trends and not real-time satellite data.
6.5 Backlight
The display features an LED backlight for improved readability. Briefly touch any button to activate the backlight for a few seconds.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
Wipe the main unit and outdoor sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the plastic components or display.
7.2 Battery Replacement
When the battery indicator appears on the display, replace the batteries in the respective unit (main unit or outdoor sensor) as soon as possible to ensure continuous operation and accurate readings. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 5.1.
8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No display on main unit. | Batteries are dead or incorrectly inserted. | Check battery polarity and replace with fresh 3x AAA batteries. |
| No outdoor temperature/humidity reading. |
|
|
| Inaccurate temperature/humidity readings. |
|
|
| Weather forecast seems incorrect. | Weather forecasts are based on atmospheric pressure trends and are not always 100% accurate. | This is normal. The forecast is an estimation. Compare with local weather reports for verification. |
