3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the speaker using the provided Micro USB cable. Connect the Micro USB end to the speaker's DC Charging Input and the USB-A end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or computer USB port. The indicator light will show charging status.

For solar charging, place the speaker with the solar panel facing direct sunlight. A half-hour of direct sunlight can provide approximately 30 minutes of music playtime. Solar charging is intended for emergency use and is not the primary charging method.

3.2 Powering On/Off

• To power on, press and hold the Power Switch button until you hear an audible prompt and the indicator light illuminates.
• To power off, press and hold the Power Switch button again until the speaker powers down.

3.3 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode (indicated by a flashing blue light).
2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "ES-T83" from the list of devices.
4. Once paired, you will hear a confirmation tone, and the indicator light will turn solid blue.

3.4 AUX Connection

For devices without Bluetooth, use the provided 3.5mm AUX audio cable. Connect one end to the speaker's AUX Input and the other end to your audio device's headphone jack. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.

4.1 Music Playback

• Play/Pause: Press the Call Answering / Play / Pause button.
• Next Track: Short press the Next Song / Volume + button.
• Previous Track: Short press the Previous Song / Volume - button.
• Volume Up: Long press the Next Song / Volume + button.
• Volume Down: Long press the Previous Song / Volume - button.

4.2 Hands-Free Calling

When connected via Bluetooth, the speaker can be used for hands-free calls:

• Answer Call: Press the Call Answering / Play / Pause button.
• End Call: Press the Call Answering / Play / Pause button again.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the Call Answering / Play / Pause button.

4.3 Usage Scenarios

The ES-T83 speaker is designed for various outdoor activities. Its compact size and included lanyard allow for easy portability, such as attaching it to a backpack or bicycle.
