The Nitecore Tube V2.0 is an ultra-lightweight and compact USB rechargeable keychain flashlight, designed for everyday carry and various lighting needs. This manual provides detailed instructions for its proper use and maintenance.

Setup

Charging the Device:

The Nitecore Tube V2.0 features an integrated USB charging circuit. Before first use, or when the light output diminishes, charge the device using a Micro-USB cable (sold separately).

1. Locate the Micro-USB charging port on the side of the flashlight.
2. Connect a Micro-USB cable to the port and plug the other end into a USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter).
3. During charging, a blue power indicator will illuminate steadily.
4. The indicator will go out automatically when charging is complete.

The built-in high-efficiency Li-ion battery provides a runtime of up to 58 hours and includes intelligent protective circuits for over-discharge, overcharge, and short circuit protection. Charging ceases automatically when the power level reaches 100%.

Operating Instructions

The Nitecore Tube V2.0 features a simple single-button interface for all operations.

Power On/Off and Brightness Levels:

• LOW Level: When the light is off, press the Power Button once to access the LOW Level (1 Lumen).
• HIGH Level: When the light is off, double-press the Power Button to access the HIGH Level (55 Lumens).
• Momentary Illumination: When the light is off, press and hold the Power Button for over 1 second to access the HIGH Level of 55 lumens. Release the button to turn off the light.
• Infinitely Variable Brightness: When the light is off, short press the Power Button to turn it on to LOW. Then, press and hold the Power Button to adjust the brightness infinitely between 1 and 55 lumens. Release the button to select the current brightness level.
• Power Off: From any steady-on mode (LOW, HIGH, or variable), press the Power Button once to turn off the light.

Lockout Function:

To prevent accidental activation, especially when carrying the flashlight in a pocket or bag, utilize the lockout function.

• Activate Lockout: When the light is off, press and hold the Power Button for approximately 3 seconds. The light will flash once to indicate it is locked out.
• Deactivate Lockout: To unlock, press and hold the Power Button for approximately 3 seconds. The light will flash once and then turn on to the LOW level, indicating it is unlocked and ready for use.

Maintenance

• Keep the device clean and free from dust and debris.
• Avoid exposing the flashlight to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
• Ensure the USB port cover is properly sealed when not charging to maintain water resistance.
• Recharge the battery regularly, even if not in use, to prolong its lifespan.

Troubleshooting

• Light does not turn on:
  • Check if the battery is charged. Connect to a USB power source to charge.
  • Ensure the lockout function is not active. Deactivate by pressing and holding the Power Button for 3 seconds.
• Accidental activation:
  • Utilize the lockout function when carrying the flashlight in a pocket or bag to prevent unintended power-on.
• Dim or flickering light:
  • The battery may be low. Recharge the device.
