Setup and Programming

Programming this remote requires locating the Viper system's control button, often found near the rearview mirror, under the dashboard, or in other discreet locations depending on the installation. Refer to your vehicle's specific Viper system manual or consult a professional if you cannot locate it.

Programming Steps:

  1. Open the driver's side door of your vehicle.
  2. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position. Do not start the engine.
  3. Locate the Viper system's control button (often a small button with a blue LED indicator).
  4. Press the control button seven times. On the eighth press, hold the button down until the car chirps.
  5. While still holding the control button, press the Lock button on your new KeylessOption remote. The car should chirp again to confirm successful programming.
  6. Release the control button.
  7. Turn the ignition key to the OFF position and remove it.
  8. Close the driver's side door.
  9. Test the remote's functions (Lock, Unlock, etc.) to ensure proper operation.

If you are programming multiple remotes, repeat steps 4 and 5 for each additional remote before turning the key off in step 6.
