Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Ciglow 500W Electric Mini Stove. This compact and versatile appliance is designed for convenient cooking in various settings. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Key Features:
- 5.6-inch Mini Stove: Powered by 120V (500W) for fast heating up to 570 degrees.
- Cookware Compatibility: Compatible with 6-inch to 10-inch cookware. For best results, use flat cookware close to 6 inches in diameter.
- Versatile Use: Small and portable, suitable for kitchens, properties, camping, travel, and dorms.
- Easy to Clean: Smooth electric heater surface can be easily wiped clean with a towel after cooling.
- Adjustable Temperature: Features 5 ranges to adjust the temperature for precise cooking control.
Setup
Initial Use:
- When using the stove for the first time, turn the switch to the fifth gear (maximum setting) and heat for 3-5 minutes.
- A small amount of smoke may be exhausted during this initial heating. This is normal and caused by the evaporation of the protective film on the stove. It should largely disappear after continuous heating in the fifth gear for 10 minutes or more, repeated 2-3 times.
Placement:
Ensure the surface where the stove is placed is flat and stable. If the bottom of the stove is not flat, concave, or convex, it cannot be used safely.
Operating Instructions
Temperature Adjustment:
Rotate the electric stove switch to operate. There are 5 ranges to adjust the temperature of the electric stove. Adjust the switch to the appropriate range to achieve the required temperature for your cooking needs.
Switching Off:
When not in use, always turn the switch to the "0"/"off" position and unplug the power cord from the outlet.
Safety Precautions
- Do not leave the stove unattended while in use.
- Do not touch the stove while it is heating or immediately after use, as the heating plate and surrounding housing will be hot.
- Do not immerse the electric stove in water or other liquids.
- The electric stove is for cooking food; utensils should be placed on the heating plate when cooking.
- When the electric stove is not in use, ensure the switch is in the "0"/"off" position and unplug the power cord.
Maintenance
Cleaning:
To clean the electric stove, ensure it is turned off, unplugged, and completely cooled down. Do not wash the unit directly under water. Simply wipe the smooth surface of the electric heater with a damp towel. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could damage the surface.
Troubleshooting
- Smoke/Odor on First Use: This is normal due to the protective film burning off. Continue heating on the highest setting for 10 minutes, repeating 2-3 times. Ensure adequate ventilation.
- Unit Overheating/Hot Housing: The housing around the heating plate will get warm during operation. Always handle with care and avoid touching hot surfaces. Ensure proper ventilation around the unit.
- Slow Heating: Ensure the stove is set to the appropriate temperature level for your cooking needs. Higher settings will heat faster. Ensure the cookware is flat-bottomed and makes good contact with the heating plate.
- No "Click" for Off Position: The temperature dial operates with a smooth twist rather than a distinct click for the off position. Always visually confirm the dial is set to "0"/"off" and unplug the unit when not in use to prevent accidental activation.
- Short Power Cord: The power cord is intentionally short for safety reasons to prevent tripping hazards. If a longer reach is required, use a suitable extension cord rated for the appliance's wattage (500W).
