Operating Instructions
Atomic Time Synchronization
The clock automatically attempts to synchronize with the WWVB atomic time signal. This process may take up to 3 days to establish a strong signal. For best reception, place the clock near a window.
- During the atomic signal search, the screen may temporarily go dark. It will re-illuminate once the signal is located and time is set.
- The atomic clock will automatically adjust for Daylight Saving Time (DST) if the DST setting is enabled.
Setting Time Zone and DST
Use the buttons on the rear panel (refer to Figure 3).
- Press the TIME ZONE button repeatedly to cycle through available time zones (e.g., PST, MST, CST, EST).
- Press the DST button to toggle Daylight Saving Time ON or OFF.
Manual Time and Calendar Setting
If atomic synchronization is not desired or unavailable, you can set the time and calendar manually.
- Press and hold the TIME SET button until the time display flashes.
- Use the + or - buttons to adjust the hour. Press TIME SET again to confirm and move to minutes.
- Adjust minutes with + or -. Press TIME SET to confirm.
- Repeat this process for setting the year, month, and day using the CALENDAR button to cycle through settings and + or - to adjust values.
- Press the 12/24 WAVE button to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats.

Snooze and Dimmer Function
The large SNOOZE/DIMMER button on top of the clock serves two functions:

- Dimmer: When the alarm is not sounding, press this button repeatedly to cycle through different display brightness levels (e.g., High, Medium, Low).
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the clock's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
