6. Troubleshooting
- Driver Not Installing Automatically (Windows): If the adapter does not install automatically, check "This PC" or "My Computer" for a new drive. Open it and run the installer file (e.g., setup.exe).
- Driver Installation Issues (Mac OS): For Mac OS (10.11-10.15), if the driver cannot be installed, navigate to "System Preferences" > "Security & Privacy" and click "Allow" for the driver software.
- Wi-Fi/Bluetooth Interference: If you experience issues when using both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth simultaneously, especially with 2.4GHz wireless mice or keyboards, consider connecting your computer and other devices to a 5GHz Wi-Fi network as much as possible to avoid channel conflicts.
- No Wi-Fi or Bluetooth Connection: Ensure the adapter is securely plugged into a functional USB port. For Bluetooth, check if the blue LED light on the adapter is flashing. If not, try a different USB port or restart your computer.
- Slow Wi-Fi Speed: Verify you are connected to the 5GHz band for higher speeds if your router supports it. Ensure there are no physical obstructions or excessive distance between the adapter and your Wi-Fi router.
7. Maintenance
- Keep the adapter clean and free from dust.
- Avoid exposing the adapter to extreme temperatures or humidity.
- Always remove the adapter safely from your computer (e.g., "Safely Remove Hardware" on Windows) to prevent data corruption or damage.
- Periodically check the Auscoumer website for updated drivers to ensure optimal performance and compatibility.
