2. Important Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, injury, or damage, always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

Key controls include:

4. Setup

Before first use, follow these steps:

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the cooker from its packaging. Retain packaging for storage or transport.
2. Placement: Place the cooker on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit (at least 10-15 cm clearance from walls or other appliances). Do not place it on a metal surface.
3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the appliance's requirements (AC 220-240V, 50/60Hz).
4. Initial Cleaning: Wipe the ceramic glass surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

1. Power On: Press the ON/OFF button. The LED display will illuminate, and the cooker will enter standby mode.
2. Place Cookware: Place a suitable pot or pan on the center of the ceramic glass cooking surface. The infrared cooker is compatible with all types of cookware.
3. Select Function: Press the Function button to cycle through the available cooking modes (e.g., Steam, Heating, BBQ, Warm, Hot Pot, Stir-Fry) or to adjust power/temperature manually.
4. Adjust Settings: Use the Up (+) and Down (-) buttons to adjust the power level or temperature according to your cooking needs. The cooker offers 8 power/temperature levels.
5. Power Off: After cooking, press the ON/OFF button to turn off the cooker. The surface will remain hot for a period, indicated by a 'HOT' warning on the display. The internal fan may continue to run until the unit cools down.

5.2 Using the Timer

The programmable timer allows you to set a cooking duration up to 3 hours.

1. While the cooker is operating, press the Timer button.
2. Use the Up (+) and Down (-) buttons to set the desired cooking time.
3. The timer will start counting down. Once the set time expires, the cooker will automatically turn off.

5.3 Child Lock Function

To prevent accidental operation, especially by children:

• Activate Lock: Press the Lock button. The control panel will become unresponsive to other touches.
• Deactivate Lock: Press and hold the Lock button again for a few seconds until the lock indicator disappears.

5.4 Automatic Shut-off

For safety and energy efficiency, the cooker features an automatic shut-off function. If left unattended for a prolonged period or if the timer completes, the unit will power down automatically.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your infrared cooker.

1. Before Cleaning: Always unplug the cooker from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. The 'HOT' indicator must be off.
2. Ceramic Glass Surface: Wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive ceramic hob cleaner. Rinse with a clean, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
3. Control Panel: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use excessive water.
4. Exterior: Clean the exterior housing with a soft, damp cloth.
5. Ventilation Openings: Ensure the ventilation openings on the underside and sides are free from dust and debris. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to gently clear them.
6. Do Not Immerse: Never immerse the cooker in water or any other liquid.
