3. Assembly Instructions

Assembly is required for this chair. Please follow these steps carefully.

1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert each of the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the 5-star base. Push firmly until they click into place.
2. Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled 5-star base.
3. Attach Mechanism Plate to Seat: Align the mechanism plate with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Secure it using the provided screws and Allen wrench. Ensure the front of the mechanism plate faces the front of the seat.
4. Attach Armrests: Secure the armrests to both sides of the seat cushion using the provided screws. Do not overtighten initially.
5. Attach Backrest: Connect the backrest to the armrests using the remaining screws. Once all screws are in place for the armrests and backrest, tighten them securely.
6. Connect Seat to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring the center hole of the mechanism plate aligns with the top of the gas lift. Press down firmly to secure.
7. Final Check: Verify that all screws are tightened and the chair is stable before use.

Adjustable Seat Height

• To raise the seat: While seated, lift the lever located under the right side of the seat. The seat will rise automatically. Release the lever at your desired height.
• To lower the seat: While seated, lift the lever located under the right side of the seat. The seat will lower. Release the lever at your desired height.
• The adjustable seat height range is approximately 16.7 to 19.9 inches (42.4 to 50.5 cm).

Rocking Function and Tension Adjustment

• The chair features a 90 to 110 degree rocking function for relaxation.
• To enable rocking: Pull out the lever located under the left side of the seat.
• To lock the chair in an upright position: Push in the lever located under the left side of the seat.
• To adjust rocking tension: Turn the round knob located under the front of the seat. Turn clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to rock) or counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to rock).
