This manual provides detailed instructions for setup, operation, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

Setup

1. Battery Installation

The device requires one CR2032 Lithium metal battery. If not already installed, follow these steps:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the unit.
  2. Use a small screwdriver to open the battery cover (if secured by a screw).
  3. Insert the CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
  4. Close the battery cover securely.

2. Attaching the Tuner

The LEKATO tuner features a high-quality rubber clamp designed to securely attach to your instrument's headstock without causing damage.

  1. Open the clamp by pressing the two arms together.
  2. Attach the clamp firmly to the headstock of your guitar, bass, violin, or ukulele.
  3. Adjust the display angle using the 360-degree rotation and 135-degree tilt features for optimal viewing.

Operating Instructions

The LEKATO 3-in-1 Tuner Metronome offers three primary functions: Tuner, Metronome, and Tone Generator.

Power On/Off

  • Press and hold the Power/Play button (circular button with a power symbol and a play triangle) for 2 seconds to turn the unit on or off.
  • The device will automatically power off after 5 minutes of no signal input or operation to conserve battery.

1. Tuner Mode

In Tuner Mode, the device detects the pitch of your instrument and displays whether it is flat, in tune, or sharp.

  1. Press the Mode/Item button (labeled "M" and "ITEM") repeatedly until "Tuner" mode is selected (indicated by a note symbol or "T" on the display).
  2. Select the desired tuning instrument mode (Chromatic, Guitar, Bass, Violin, Ukulele) by pressing the Note/Rhythm button (labeled with a musical note and rhythm symbol). The display will show C, G, B, U, or V.
  3. Pluck a single string on your instrument. The display will show the note name and an indicator.
  4. Tuning Indicator:
    • Orange backlight (left side): Note is flat.
    • Green backlight (center): Note is in tune.
    • Orange backlight (right side): Note is sharp.
  5. Adjust your instrument's string until the display shows the correct note name and the backlight turns green.

A4 Frequency Adjustment: Use the Parameter Adjust buttons (up and down arrow buttons) to adjust the A4 frequency from 430 Hz to 450 Hz. The default is 440 Hz.

Supported Tuning Modes:

  • Chromatic (C): For all instruments.
  • Guitar (G): Standard EADGBe tuning.
  • Bass (B): Standard EADG tuning.
  • Violin (V): Standard GDAE tuning.
  • Ukulele (U): Standard GCEA tuning.

2. Metronome Mode

The metronome function helps you develop rhythm and maintain tempo.

  1. Press the Mode/Item button (labeled "M" and "ITEM") repeatedly until "Metronome" mode is selected (indicated by a metronome symbol or "M" on the display).
  2. Press the Power/Play button (circular button with a power symbol and a play triangle) to start or stop the metronome.
  3. Adjusting Tempo (BPM): Use the Parameter Adjust buttons (up and down arrow buttons) to set the tempo from 30 to 250 beats per minute (bpm).
  4. Adjusting Beat: Press the Note/Rhythm button (labeled with a musical note and rhythm symbol) to cycle through beat settings (0-9).
  5. Adjusting Rhythm: Press and hold the Note/Rhythm button (labeled with a musical note and rhythm symbol) to select from 8 rhythm types.
  6. Adjusting Volume: Long press the Note/Rhythm button (labeled with a musical note and rhythm symbol) to adjust the metronome volume.

3. Tone Generator Mode

The tone generator produces a reference tone for manual tuning.

  1. Press the Mode/Item button (labeled "M" and "ITEM") repeatedly until "Tone Generator" mode is selected (indicated by a speaker symbol or "TG" on the display).
  2. Use the Parameter Adjust buttons (up and down arrow buttons) to select the desired note.
  3. Press the Power/Play button (circular button with a power symbol and a play triangle) to play the selected tone. Press again to stop.

Maintenance

  • Clean the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
  • Remove the battery if the unit will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
  • Store the tuner in a safe place to prevent physical damage.

Troubleshooting
