4. Installation
Before starting, ensure the power is turned off at the circuit breaker. This fixture can be installed using a J-Box or directly flush-mounted to the ceiling.
4.1. Preparing the Fixture
- Remove the prismatic acrylic lens from the fixture housing. Gently squeeze the edge of the diffuser and carefully release it from the housing.
- If using for ceiling-mounted installation, knock out the end port for power wire access.

4.2. J-Box Installation
- Measure the required length of the fixture and power wires to fit inside the J-box. Trim the wires to the correct length and secure them with the built-in wire clips.
- Install M4x25 screws into the J-box.
- Connect the house ground wire to the fixture's ground wire using a wire nut.
- Connect the house white wire to the fixture's neutral wire using a wire nut.
- Connect the house black wire to the fixture's hot wire using a wire nut.
- Attach the fixture housing to the J-box by aligning the keyholes on the housing with the screws on the J-box. Turn the housing clockwise to lock in place and tighten the screws.
- Finally, install the prismatic lens by carefully squeezing and inserting it into the housing.
4.3. Ceiling-Mounted Installation
- Secure the terminal block to the fixture baseplate using the provided M3x10 screws.
- Connect the fixture wires (ground, neutral, hot) to the terminal block.
- Mount the light fixture to the ceiling using self-tapping screws and drywall anchors (if needed).
- Connect the power supply wires from the ceiling to the terminal block.
- Finally, install the prismatic lens by carefully squeezing and inserting it into the housing.

4.4. Linkable Design
This wraparound shop light features a continuous-interlocking design, allowing you to link multiple fixtures together. Up to 4 fixtures can be assembled in a line by knocking out the hole on the end of each fixture and connecting them with jumper wires (connection line not included). Secure connections with strain relief clamps.

5. Operation
Once properly installed and wired, the hykolity 4FT 40W LED Wraparound Light operates by a standard wall switch connected to the circuit. Simply toggle the switch to turn the light on or off. The fixture provides a consistent 4000K Neutral White light output.
6. Maintenance
The hykolity LED Wraparound Light is designed for minimal maintenance. The LED technology eliminates the need for bulb replacements, and the prismatic acrylic lens is durable and resistant to breakage.
- Cleaning: To clean the fixture, ensure the power is off. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the surface. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that may damage the finish or lens.

7. Troubleshooting
If the fixture does not operate correctly, refer to the following common issues and solutions:
- Light does not turn on:
- Check the circuit breaker to ensure power is supplied to the fixture.
- Verify all wire connections are secure and correctly installed.
- Light flickers or dims:
- Ensure all electrical connections are tight.
- Confirm the voltage supply is within the specified range (100-277V).
- Unusual noise:
- LED fixtures are generally silent. If noise occurs, check for loose components or wiring.
