3. Assembly Instructions

Assembly is straightforward and can be completed quickly by following these steps. It is recommended to have a second person assist with holding parts during certain steps.

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
2. Identify Parts: Match each component to the corresponding labels in the assembly diagram (refer to the included paper manual for detailed diagrams).
3. Assemble Frame: Attach the metal frame pieces using the provided screws and Allen key. Ensure all connections are secure but do not overtighten initially.
4. Attach Side Panels: Secure the vintage brown side panels to the metal frame.
5. Install Bottom Panel: Place and secure the bottom panel of the storage compartment.
6. Attach Hinges: Mount the hinges to the storage box and the upholstered lid. Ensure they are aligned correctly for smooth opening and closing.

   

7. Attach Upholstered Lid: Carefully attach the upholstered lid to the hinges.
8. Adjust Feet: Adjust the leveling feet at the bottom of the bench to ensure stability on uneven floors.

   

9. Final Tightening: Once all parts are assembled, gently tighten all screws to ensure maximum stability. Do not overtighten.

4.1 Seating Function

• The upholstered top provides a comfortable surface for sitting.
• Use as a bench in hallways for putting on shoes, in bedrooms at the foot of the bed, or in living areas as extra seating.
• Ensure the lid is fully closed before sitting to prevent injury.

4.2 Storage Function

• To access the storage compartment, lift the upholstered lid. The hinges are designed to hold the lid open.
• Store items such as blankets, pillows, books, or other household goods.
• Do not overload the storage compartment beyond the 20 kg weight limit.
