Portable Non-Stick Noodle Cooker

1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using the Stariver Electric Hot Pot. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  • To protect against electrical hazards, do not immerse the power cord, plugs, or the heating base in water or other liquids.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Contact customer service for examination, repair, or adjustment.
  • The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
  • Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
  • Always attach the plug to the appliance first, then plug the cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove the plug from the wall outlet.
  • Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
  • Exercise extreme caution when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
  • This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.

3. Setup

Before first use, ensure all packaging materials are removed. Follow these steps to set up your electric hot pot:

  1. Place the separate heating base on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface.
  2. Place the hot pot securely onto the heating base. Ensure it is properly seated.
  3. Wash the interior of the pot and the glass lid with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before use.
  4. Plug the power cord into a standard 110V electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

The Stariver Electric Hot Pot features a control dial for easy operation.

4.1. Cooking Modes

  • Off: Turn the dial to the "Off" position to power down the appliance.
  • Keep Warm: When the switch is set between "Heating" and "Keep Warm", the unit will heat to approximately 100°C. If the temperature drops to about 75-85°C, it will restart heating to maintain warmth. A blue light indicates the heating status.
  • Fast Boiling: Turn the dial to the "Boiling" position for rapid heating. The food in the pot will be kept at a rolling boil.

4.2. General Usage

  1. Add desired ingredients and liquid to the pot. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
  2. Place the glass lid on the pot.
  3. Select the desired cooking mode using the control dial.
  4. Monitor cooking progress through the glass lid.
  5. Once cooking is complete, turn the dial to "Off" and unplug the appliance.
  6. Use the cool-touch handle to safely transport the pot.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your electric hot pot.

  1. Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. The pot is removable from the heating base for easy washing.
  3. Wash the interior of the pot and the glass lid with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge. For stubborn food residue, soak the pot for a few minutes before cleaning.
  4. Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the non-stick coating and stainless steel interior.
  5. Wipe the exterior of the pot and the heating base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the heating base or power cord in water.
  6. Ensure all parts are thoroughly dry before storing or next use.
  7. Store the appliance in a cool, dry place.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Stariver Electric Hot Pot, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Appliance does not turn on:
    • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
    • Check if the control dial is set to an active heating mode (not "Off").
  • Pot stops heating unexpectedly:
    • The hot pot is equipped with boil-dry protection and overheating protection. If the pot runs dry or overheats, it will automatically shut off.
    • If this occurs, turn the dial to "Off", unplug the unit, and allow it to cool for 1-3 minutes to reset. Add liquid if necessary before restarting.
  • Food sticks to the bottom:
    • Ensure sufficient liquid is used for cooking.
    • Avoid cooking at excessively high temperatures for prolonged periods without stirring.
