Product Overview
The Camco Eaz-Lift Trailer Tire Leveler (Model 48845) is designed to provide easy and efficient leveling for light single axle trailers. This device eliminates the need for traditional blocks or ramps, offering a streamlined solution for achieving a stable and level trailer on uneven terrain.
Constructed from durable, powder-coated steel with a corrosion-resistant finish, the leveler is built for longevity. Its design includes embossed tire pads to enhance traction and stability during use. The leveler can raise a trailer axle by up to 8 inches when fully extended and is compatible with most 13-inch, 14-inch, and 15-inch wheels with tire diameters up to 27.1 inches. A ratchet wrench is included for convenient operation.

Safety Information
- Always ensure the trailer is parked on a stable, firm surface before attempting to level.
- Do not exceed the maximum load rating of 2000 lbs for this leveler.
- Verify that the leveler is securely positioned under the tire before applying pressure.
- Keep hands and clothing clear of moving parts during operation.
- This leveler is designed for light, single axle trailers only. Do not use with tandem axle trailers or heavier vehicles.
- Always use wheel chocks on the opposite side of the trailer to prevent movement.
Setup and Installation
- Position the Trailer: Park your single axle trailer on as level a surface as possible. Identify the side of the trailer that needs to be raised.
- Chock Wheels: Place wheel chocks on the wheels on the side of the trailer that will not be leveled to prevent any unintended movement.
- Prepare the Leveler: Ensure the leveler's screw mechanism is retracted enough to allow the leveler to slide under the tire.
- Place the Leveler: Slide the Eaz-Lift Trailer Tire Leveler under the tire that needs to be raised. Position it so that the tire rests firmly on the embossed tire pads. Ensure both sides of the leveler cradle the tire properly.
- Initial Adjustment: Hand-tighten the adjustment screw until the leveler makes firm contact with the tire.

Operating Instructions
- Attach Ratchet Wrench: Place the included ratchet wrench onto the hex head of the adjustment screw.
- Raise the Trailer: Turn the ratchet wrench clockwise to extend the screw and lift the trailer tire. Continuously check the trailer's level using a spirit level.
- Achieve Level: Continue turning the wrench until the desired level is achieved. The leveler can raise the axle up to 8 inches.
- Secure Position: Once the trailer is level, ensure the screw is tightly secured.
- Lowering the Trailer: To lower the trailer, turn the ratchet wrench counter-clockwise to retract the screw. Once the tire is fully on the ground, remove the leveler.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: After each use, clean the leveler to remove dirt, mud, and debris. A damp cloth is usually sufficient.
- Lubrication: Periodically apply a light lubricant (e.g., silicone spray or grease) to the adjustment screw threads to ensure smooth operation and prevent corrosion.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the leveler for any signs of damage, wear, or corrosion. Pay close attention to the welds, tire pads, and screw mechanism.
- Storage: Store the leveler in a dry place when not in use to prolong its lifespan. The compact design allows for easy storage.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Difficulty sliding leveler under tire. | Tire diameter is too large or screw is not fully retracted. Ground surface is uneven. | Ensure the screw is fully retracted. Verify tire diameter is within the 27.1-inch limit. Try backing the trailer onto a thin block of wood to create more clearance before inserting the leveler. |
| Leveler does not provide enough lift. | Trailer is on a very steep incline, or tire is not centered on the pads. | Reposition the trailer to a less severe incline if possible. Ensure the tire is properly seated on the embossed pads. The maximum lift is 8 inches. For extreme leveling needs, additional blocks may be required under the leveler itself, but this is not the primary intended use. |
| Ratchet wrench does not fit or operate smoothly. | Incorrect wrench size or screw threads are dirty/corroded. | Ensure you are using the correct size end of the included ratchet wrench. Clean and lubricate the screw threads. If the wrench is damaged or incorrect, contact customer support. |
| Leveler slips during operation. | Tire pads are not clean, or the ground surface is unstable. | Clean the embossed tire pads to ensure maximum grip. Ensure the trailer is on a firm, stable surface. Avoid using on loose gravel or soft ground without a solid base underneath the leveler. |
