3. Setup

The RCA RC-H7 Oil Heater requires no assembly. Follow these steps for initial setup:

2. Placement: Position the heater on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is adequate clearance (at least 3 feet or 90 cm) from walls, furniture, curtains, and other objects to allow for proper air circulation and prevent fire hazards.
3. Power Connection: Unwind the power cord completely. Plug the heater directly into a grounded 120V AC electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.

4. Operating Instructions

The RCA RC-H7 Oil Heater features an adjustable thermostat and three power settings for customized heating.

1. Power On: Ensure the heater is plugged into a suitable electrical outlet.
2. Select Power Level: Use the lower dial on the control panel to select a heat setting:
   • 'I' (Low): For minimal heat output.
   • 'II' (Medium): For moderate heat output.
   • 'III' (High): For maximum heat output.
3. Adjust Thermostat: Use the upper dial to set the desired room temperature. Turn the dial clockwise to increase the temperature setting and counter-clockwise to decrease it. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.
4. Power Indicator: The red indicator light on the control panel will illuminate when the heater is actively heating.
5. Power Off: To turn off the heater, turn the power level dial to the '0' (Off) position and unplug the unit from the wall outlet.

• Cleaning: Before cleaning, always turn off the heater and unplug it from the power outlet. Allow the heater to cool completely. Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure no water enters the internal components.
• Storage: When not in use, store the heater in a cool, dry place. You can use the integrated cord storage feature to neatly wrap the power cord.
