Connecting Your Mouse
The Venus Pro mouse supports both wireless (2.4 GHz) and wired connectivity.
Wireless Mode (2.4 GHz)
- Locate the USB receiver (Nano) in the mouse packaging.
- Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- Turn on the mouse using the switch located on the bottom. For wireless operation without RGB lighting, select the 'ON' position. For wireless operation with RGB lighting, select the 'ON With Lights' position.
- The mouse should automatically connect to your computer. If not, press any button on the mouse to wake it up.

Wired Mode
- Connect the USB-C end of the charging cable to the mouse and the USB-A end to an available USB port on your computer.
- The mouse will function immediately in wired mode and will also charge its internal battery.

Button Overview and Programming
The UtechSmart Venus Pro features 16 programmable buttons, including 12 thumb-grip buttons, left/right click, scroll wheel, DPI adjustment buttons, and a fire button. These buttons can be customized using the UtechSmart actuation software to assign macros, key functions, or multimedia controls.

DPI Adjustment
The mouse features an ultra-accurate PixArt PMW3335 optical sensor with up to 16,000 DPI. You can switch between 5 customizable DPI stages (100-16000 DPI) using the dedicated DPI adjustment buttons located below the scroll wheel. The UtechSmart software allows you to fine-tune these DPI levels.
