3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking and Inspection

1. Carefully remove all padlocks and keys from their packaging.

3.2 Key Identification

• All keys provided are identical and will operate all 14 padlocks.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Locking the Padlock

1. Ensure the shackle is in the open position.
2. Position the shackle around the item(s) to be secured.
3. Press the shackle firmly into the padlock body until it clicks into place.
4. Gently pull on the shackle to confirm it is securely locked.

4.2 Unlocking the Padlock

1. Insert the key fully into the keyway.
2. Turn the key clockwise until the shackle springs open.
3. Remove the key. The padlock is now open.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Key Does Not Turn or Is Difficult to Insert

• Check for Obstructions: Ensure there is no foreign material in the keyway. Use compressed air to clear if necessary.
• Lubrication: Apply a lock lubricant (graphite or silicone-based) into the keyway as described in the Maintenance section.
• Correct Key: Verify you are using the correct key (Master Key #A445).

6.2 Shackle Is Stiff or Does Not Spring Open
