Setup

Initial State

In its factory default state, any fingerprint can unlock the padlock. It is crucial to register administrator fingerprints immediately upon first use to secure the device.

Registering Administrator Fingerprints (First Two)

The first two fingerprints registered will be designated as administrator fingerprints. These are essential for adding or deleting other user fingerprints.

  1. Long press the fingerprint sensor until the blue light turns on.
  2. Release your finger. The green light will turn on.
  3. Place your first finger on the sensor and lift it repeatedly, touching from different angles, about 10 times, until the green light turns off. This registers the first administrator fingerprint.
  4. While the green light is still on, place your second finger on the sensor and lift it repeatedly, touching from different angles, about 10 times, until the green light turns off. This registers the second administrator fingerprint.

Once these steps are completed, the first and second administrator fingerprints are successfully set.

Adding Third or More Fingerprints

To add additional user fingerprints (up to 8 more, for a total of 10), an administrator fingerprint is required.

  1. Unlock the padlock using an administrator fingerprint. Do not remove your finger until the blue light turns on.
  2. Once the blue light is on, remove your finger.
  3. Place the new finger on the sensor and lift it repeatedly, touching from different angles, until the green light turns on. This indicates successful registration.

Operating Instructions

Unlocking the Padlock

To unlock the padlock, simply place a registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The padlock will unlock in approximately 0.5 seconds if the fingerprint is recognized.

Morse Code Unlock (Emergency)

If all registered fingerprints fail to unlock the device, a Morse Code can be used as an emergency unlock method. This feature must be set up by an administrator after fingerprint registration.

  1. Long press the fingerprint sensor until the white light flashes, then release your finger. The green light will turn on.
  2. Press the sensor according to your first Morse Code number (e.g., 5 times for number 5). Wait for the light to change to blue.
  3. Press the sensor according to your second Morse Code number (e.g., 6 times for number 6). The blue light will turn off, and the green light will flash once, indicating success.

Note: If you do not set a custom Morse Code, the default setting is 33 (green light press 3 times, blue light press 3 times).

Maintenance

Charging the Padlock

The padlock is equipped with a rechargeable 3.7V Lithium battery. A Micro USB port is located at the bottom of the device for charging.

  • When the battery level is below 30%, a red light will flash quickly, indicating that charging is required.
  • If the battery is completely depleted, the padlock will remain unlocked. Charge the lock for 2-5 minutes to restore enough power for unlocking.
  • A full charge takes approximately one hour and provides power for over 9,000 unlocks, typically lasting 6-12 months.

Troubleshooting

Resetting to Factory Mode (Delete All Fingerprints)

To delete all registered fingerprints and reset the padlock to its factory default state (where any skin touch can open it), follow these steps:

  1. Place an administrator's fingerprint (one of the first two registered) on the sensor and hold it for 10 seconds until a red light turns on.
  2. Release your finger, then immediately place it on the sensor again to confirm the deletion.
  3. The green light will turn on with a long beep, indicating all fingerprints are deleted and the lock is reset.

Incorrect Morse Code Entry

If an incorrect Morse Code is entered, the indicator light will display a red color and flicker.
