6. Programming Keys

The WOOCH RFID lock allows for easy programming of master and user cards/fobs.

6.1. Initialization (Reset)

To reset the lock and clear all previously programmed cards:

  1. Install the batteries or connect the USB cable.
  2. Locate the reset button hole on the lock body.
  3. Use a small, hard object (like a pin or paperclip) to press and hold the RESET button through the hole.
  4. Hold the button until you hear a long beep, indicating the lock has been reset.

6.2. Set Management Card (Master Card)

After initialization, the first RFID card or tag swiped will be set as the master card. This card is used to add or delete user cards.

  1. After resetting the lock, immediately swipe the desired card/fob over the induction area of the lock body.
  2. You will hear a confirmation beep, and this card/fob is now your master card.

6.3. Add User Cards/Fobs

To add additional user cards or fobs:

  1. Swipe the master card over the induction area. The lock will beep once.
  2. Within 5 seconds, swipe the new user card/fob you wish to add. The lock will beep twice to confirm.
  3. Repeat step 2 for all additional user cards/fobs.
  4. To exit programming mode, swipe the master card again or wait 5 seconds for the lock to automatically exit.

6.4. Delete Cards/Fobs

To delete all user cards (the master card cannot be deleted without a full reset):

  1. Perform a full initialization (reset) as described in section 6.1. This will delete all programmed cards, including the master card.
  2. You will then need to reprogram a new master card and any desired user cards.

7. Unlock Modes

The WOOCH RFID lock supports two primary unlock modes:

7.1. Single Mode

In Single Mode, the lock can be opened by swiping any single programmed user card or the master card.

7.2. Dual Mode

In Dual Mode, the lock requires two specific cards to be swiped in sequence to unlock. This mode is typically used for enhanced security, requiring a 'Guest Card' and a 'Service Card'.

8. Low Battery Alert

The lock is equipped with a low battery alert feature to notify you when the batteries need replacement.

  • When the battery level is low, the lock will emit a long beep after each successful unlock.
  • Upon hearing this alert, you will have approximately 15 more uses before the batteries are completely depleted.
  • Replace the 4 AAA batteries promptly to ensure continuous secure operation.

9. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your WOOCH RFID Electronic Cabinet Lock, consider the following:

  • Lock Not Responding: Check the battery level. Replace batteries if necessary or connect the USB power cable.
  • Card Not Unlocking: Ensure the card/fob is correctly programmed. Try re-programming the card/fob. Ensure the card is swiped directly over the induction area.
  • Lock Mechanism Jammed: Verify that the lock base and latch are properly aligned and that there are no obstructions preventing smooth operation. Re-adjust if needed.
  • Accidental Lockout: If the batteries die and you cannot open the lock, connect the USB cable to the external USB port for emergency power to unlock.
