  2. Apply Plumber's Tape: Apply plumber's tape (PTFE tape) to the male threaded fittings of the risers before connecting the valve. This is crucial to prevent leaks. Tighten connections firmly but do not overtighten.
  3. Connect Valve: Thread the anti-siphon valve onto the risers. The valve is designed for above-ground installation.
  4. Wire to Sprinkler Timer: Connect the valve's wires to your standard 24-Volt sprinkler timer. Use waterproof wire nuts for secure and protected connections, especially in outdoor environments.
