Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the Fisher-Price Deluxe Infant-to-Toddler Rocker, a convertible infant seat designed for use from newborn to toddler (up to 40 lbs). It functions as an infant rocker or stationary seat with calming vibrations and includes a removable toy bar. The seat features an adjustable, three-position reclining seatback, a machine-washable seat pad, and a lightweight, foldable frame for storage and travel. Suitable from birth until the child weighs 40 lb (18 kg).

Safety Information

Assembly

Before assembly, ensure all parts are present. A Phillips head screwdriver is required (not included).

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging.
  2. Attach Base Rails: Connect the left and right base rails to the seat frame. Ensure they click securely into place.
  3. Install Kickstand: Attach the fold-out kickstand to the underside of the base. This allows conversion to a stationary seat.
  4. Secure Seat Pad: Drape the fabric seat pad over the frame, ensuring all straps and loops align with the frame's attachment points. Secure the seat pad using the provided fasteners.
  5. Insert Vibration Unit: Open the battery compartment (usually located under the seat) and insert 1 D battery (not included) for the vibration feature. Close the compartment securely.
  6. Attach Toy Bar: Insert the toy bar into the designated slots on the side of the seat frame. Ensure it is firmly attached. The toy bar is removable.
  7. Final Check: Verify all connections are secure and the seat pad is properly installed before placing a child in the rocker.

Operating Instructions

Adjusting Recline Position

The rocker features an adjustable, three-position reclining seatback. To adjust, locate the recline adjustment buttons on both sides of the seat frame. Press these buttons simultaneously and move the seatback to the desired position. Release the buttons to lock the seatback in place.

Converting to Stationary Seat

To convert the rocker into a stationary seat, pull out the fold-out kickstand located at the front underside of the base. Ensure the kickstand is fully extended and locked into position. To return to rocking mode, fold the kickstand back under the base.

Using Calming Vibrations

The rocker includes a calming vibration feature. To activate, press the vibration button located on the side of the seat frame. Press again to turn off. Requires 1 D battery (not included).

Toy Bar and Toys

The overhead toy bar can be easily removed by pressing the release buttons on each side and lifting it away. The two bat-at toys attached to the bar are designed for sensory engagement and can also be removed for individual play or cleaning.

Folding for Storage and Travel

The rocker features a lightweight, foldable frame for convenient storage and travel. To fold, ensure the kickstand is folded in, then locate the folding mechanisms (refer to assembly diagrams for exact location) and collapse the frame. Always ensure the child is removed from the rocker before folding.
