- Handle: For safe handling of the hot coffee maker.
- Pot Cover: Hinged lid for the upper pot.
- Upper Pot: Collects the brewed espresso.
- Thread Mouth: Connects the upper and lower pots securely.
- Safety Valve: Releases excess pressure from the lower pot. Do not obstruct.
- Lower Pot: Holds water for brewing.
- Ground Coffee Box (Filter Basket): Holds ground coffee.
Setup and First Use
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash all parts (upper pot, lower pot, filter basket) with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Assembly:
- Unscrew the upper pot from the lower pot.
- Remove the filter basket from the lower pot.
- First Brew (Conditioning): It is recommended to perform a few brewing cycles with water only (or discard the first few coffee brews) to season the coffee maker and remove any manufacturing residues.
Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to brew espresso with your Ciglow coffee maker:
- Fill Lower Pot: Unscrew the upper pot from the lower pot. Fill the lower pot with fresh, cold water. Do not exceed the level of the safety valve.
- Add Coffee Grounds: Insert the filter basket into the lower pot. Fill the filter basket with finely ground coffee. Do not tamp the coffee too tightly.
- Assemble: Place the upper pot onto the lower pot and screw them together tightly to ensure a secure seal.
- Heat: Place the assembled coffee maker on a heat source (gas, ceramic, or electric stove). Use a medium heat setting.
- Brewing: As the water heats, pressure will build, forcing water up through the coffee grounds and into the upper pot.
- Serve: Once the upper pot is full of brewed coffee, remove the coffee maker from the heat source immediately. Pour the fresh espresso into a cup.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your coffee maker.
- Daily Cleaning: After each use, disassemble the coffee maker. Wash all parts with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly to remove all coffee residues and soap.
- Drying: Dry all components completely before reassembling or storing to prevent water spots and corrosion.
- Do Not Use Abrasives: Avoid using abrasive sponges or harsh cleaning agents, as these can scratch the stainless steel finish.
- Dishwasher Safety: This coffee maker is not dishwasher safe. Hand washing is recommended.
- Storage: Store the coffee maker in a dry place.
