Button Functions:

• LIGHT: Activates the EL backlight for illumination in dark conditions.
• MODE: Cycles through different operational modes (Time, Chronograph, Alarm, Dual Time, Countdown).
• START: Used to start/stop functions in Chronograph and Countdown modes, and to adjust settings.
• RESET: Used to reset functions in Chronograph and Countdown modes, and to adjust settings.

Setup

Setting Time and Date:

1. From the normal time display, press the MODE button repeatedly until you enter the Time Setting mode. The seconds will begin to flash.
2. Press the RESET button to select the item you wish to adjust (seconds, hour, minute, year, month, day).
3. Use the START button to increase the selected value. Hold START to advance rapidly.
4. Press the MODE button to confirm your settings and exit the Time Setting mode.

Setting 12/24 Hour Format:

In the normal time display, press the START button to toggle between 12-hour (P for PM) and 24-hour formats.

Setting the Alarm:

1. Press the MODE button until you reach the Alarm mode. The hour digits will flash.
2. Press the RESET button to select between hour and minute settings.
3. Use the START button to adjust the hour or minute.
4. Press the MODE button to confirm and exit Alarm setting.
5. To turn the alarm ON/OFF, in Alarm mode, press the START button. An alarm icon will appear/disappear.

Setting Dual Time:

The watch supports a second time zone. Press the MODE button until you reach the Dual Time mode. Follow similar steps as setting the main time to adjust the second time zone.

Chronograph (Stopwatch) Function:

1. Press the MODE button until you enter the Chronograph mode (indicated by 'ST' or 'CHRO').
2. Press START to begin timing.
3. Press START again to pause timing.
4. Press RESET to clear the stopwatch to zero.
5. While the stopwatch is running, you can press RESET to record a split time. The stopwatch continues to run in the background. Press RESET again to return to the running stopwatch display.

Countdown Timer Function:

1. Press the MODE button until you enter the Countdown Timer mode (indicated by 'TR' or 'CD').
2. To set the countdown time, press and hold RESET until the digits flash.
3. Use RESET to select the hour, minute, or second digits. Use START to adjust the value.
4. Press MODE to confirm the countdown time.
5. Press START to begin the countdown.
6. Press START again to pause/resume the countdown.
7. Press RESET to stop and reset the countdown.

EL Backlight:

In any mode, press the LIGHT button to illuminate the display for a few seconds. This feature is useful in low-light conditions.

Maintenance

Water Resistance:

The SKMEI-1335 watch is water-resistant up to 50 meters (5 ATM). This means it is suitable for daily use, hand washing, and showering. However, it is not recommended for diving or prolonged submersion. Avoid pressing buttons underwater, as this can compromise the water seal.

Important: If mist or water droplets appear inside the watch face, contact the manufacturer immediately. Excessive exposure to water, especially hot water or steam, may reduce the watch's lifespan.

Battery Replacement:

The watch is powered by a LR44 battery. When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, it may be time to replace the battery. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure the water resistance seal is maintained.

Cleaning:

Clean the watch case and strap regularly with a soft, damp cloth. For stainless steel bands, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by thorough rinsing and drying. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

Troubleshooting

• Display is blank or dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery.
• Time is incorrect: Re-set the time following the instructions in the 'Setup' section. Ensure the 12/24 hour format is correctly set.
• Buttons are unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though not a feature for this model). If issues persist, a battery replacement might resolve it, or contact support.
• Mist inside the watch face: This indicates a breach in the water resistance. Stop using the watch immediately and contact the manufacturer or a service center.
