Operating Instructions

Advanced Audio Codec Selection (for Android)

To ensure you are utilizing the highest quality audio codecs like aptX HD or aptX Low Latency, you may need to adjust settings on your Android smartphone. The adapter automatically selects the highest available codec, but manual verification is possible.

  1. Enable Developer Options: Go to "Settings" > "About phone" (or "System" > "About phone"). Tap "Build number" seven times to enable Developer Options.
  2. Access Bluetooth Audio Codec Settings: Go to "Settings" > "System" > "Developer options". Find "Bluetooth Audio Codec".
  3. Select Codec: Choose your desired codec (e.g., aptX HD, aptX Low Latency). Note that the codec will automatically match the highest supported by both your phone and the adapter.
