  • Power Signal Light: Indicates the power status of the device.

  • DC5V Power Supply Interface: Connects to the provided power adapter.
  • HDMI Signal 1-7 Input IN: Connect your HDMI source devices (e.g., game consoles, Blu-ray player, computer) here.
  • HDMI Signal OUT Output: Connect this port to your HDMI display (e.g., TV, monitor, projector).

Setup and Installation

  1. Connect HDMI Source Devices: Connect up to seven HDMI source devices (e.g., game consoles, Blu-ray players, streaming devices, computers) to the HDMI Input ports (IN1-IN7) on the Univivi HDMI Switch using high-quality HDMI 2.0 cables.
  2. Connect to Display: Connect the HDMI Output port (OUT) of the Univivi HDMI Switch to the HDMI Input port on your TV, monitor, or projector using a high-quality HDMI 2.0 cable. Ensure your display supports 4K@60Hz resolution if you intend to use this feature.
  3. Connect Power Adapter: Insert the DC5V power adapter into the power input port on the switch, then plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The power indicator light on the front panel will illuminate.

Operating Instructions

Automatic Switching

The Univivi HDMI Switch supports automatic switching. When a new HDMI source device is turned on or connected, the switch will automatically detect the active signal and switch to that input. If the current active input is turned off, the switch will automatically switch to the next available active input.

Manual Switching

You can manually switch between HDMI inputs using either the button on the front panel of the switch or the provided IR remote control.

  • Using the Switch Button: Press the "SELECT" button on the front panel of the HDMI switch to cycle through the available inputs (IN1 to IN7). The corresponding signal indicator LED will light up to show the currently selected input.
  • Using the IR Remote Control: Point the remote control towards the infrared receiver on the front panel of the switch. Press the numbered buttons (1-7) on the remote to directly select the desired HDMI input.

Maintenance

  • Keep the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, and humidity.
