Setup and Assembly
Assembly of the VIVOSUN S105 Grow Tent is designed to be straightforward. It is recommended to have assistance for larger tents due to the size and weight of the fabric.
- Prepare the Area: Choose a clean, flat, and stable location for your grow tent. Ensure there is enough space around the tent for assembly and future access.
- Unzip All Zippers: Before attempting to fit the fabric over the frame, fully unzip all zippers on the tent fabric. This will make the installation process significantly easier.
- Assemble the Frame:

Connect the metal poles using the tool-free corner connectors according to the provided diagram. Start with the base, then build upwards. Ensure all connections are secure. The frame features 0.8mm thick, 19mm diameter steel pipes for stability. - Install the Tent Fabric: Carefully pull the tent fabric over the assembled metal frame. This step may require two people for larger tents. Ensure the fabric is correctly oriented and aligned with the frame. Once the fabric is over the frame, pull the corners into place.
- Secure Zippers: Once the fabric is properly positioned, slowly zip up all zippers. The zippers are heavy-duty SBS zippers designed for smooth operation. If a zipper catches, gently adjust the fabric to free it, avoiding excessive force.

- Install Hanging Bars: Attach the top hanging bars to the frame. These bars are designed to support up to 160 lbs each, accommodating various grow lights, fans, and filters. Use the included hanging straps as needed.
- Place Floor Tray: Insert the removable floor tray at the bottom of the tent. This tray helps contain spills and makes cleaning easier.
- Organize Cables: Utilize the designated slots for cable management to route electrical cords neatly and safely.

Light Management
The VIVOSUN S105 Grow Tent features a 100% reflective Mylar interior lining. This material maximizes light utilization, ensuring even light distribution to your plants and boosting overall efficiency.

The multi-layered fabric, consisting of 600D Oxford canvas, a reinforced PE layer, and 100% reflective Mylar, effectively blocks all light from leaking, creating a sealed environment for optimal plant growth.

Ventilation
The tent is equipped with multiple openings for duct fans, lamps, and electrical cords. These ports allow for flexible setup of your ventilation system to maintain optimal airflow and temperature within the tent. Use the tightening strings on the exhaust holes to adjust or close them as needed.
Observation Window
A visible window made of transparent plastic is integrated into the tent, allowing you to monitor your plants' growth without disturbing the internal environment. The window cover uses hook and loop fasteners for easy opening and closing.
Removable Floor Tray
The removable floor tray is designed to catch any spilled soil or water, protecting your floor and simplifying cleanup. Ensure it is properly seated at the bottom of the tent.
Maintenance
- Cleaning the Tent Fabric: Use a damp cloth with mild soap and water to clean the exterior and interior surfaces of the tent. Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the Mylar lining or fabric.
- Zipper Care: To ensure smooth operation and prevent damage, periodically clean the zippers and apply a zipper lubricant if necessary. Always operate zippers slowly and carefully to avoid snagging the fabric backing.
- Floor Tray Cleaning: Regularly remove and clean the floor tray to prevent mold, mildew, and pest issues.
- Frame Inspection: Periodically check the metal frame and connectors for any signs of wear or damage. Ensure all connections remain secure.
Troubleshooting
- Light Leaks: Ensure all zippers are fully closed and the tent fabric is properly stretched over the frame. Check all ventilation ports and cable slots to ensure they are sealed or tightened. The zipper part has an upgraded black inner lining to prevent light leakage.
- Zipper Malfunction: If a zipper becomes difficult to operate, check for any fabric caught in the teeth. Gently pull the fabric away and try zipping again. Avoid forcing the zipper. If the zipper is damaged, contact customer support.
- Frame Instability: Verify that all metal poles are fully inserted into their connectors. Ensure the tent is on a level surface.
- Excessive Humidity/Heat: Ensure your ventilation system (fans, filters) is properly installed and operating. Adjust fan speeds and open/close ventilation ports as needed to regulate temperature and humidity.
