3. Setup Guide
3.1 Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided power cable to the speaker's charging port (DC 5V) and a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 5 hours.
3.2 Bluetooth Pairing
- Press and hold the Power button (1) on the speaker for 3 seconds to turn it on. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "HY_888" from the list of devices.
- Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid. You will hear a confirmation tone.
3.3 TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Pairing (for 2-Pack)
To achieve stereo sound with two HY_888 speakers:
- Ensure both speakers are fully charged and turned off.
- Turn on both speakers simultaneously. They will enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
- On one of the speakers, double-press the Power button. The speakers will attempt to pair with each other.
- Once successfully paired, one speaker will act as the master (left channel) and the other as the slave (right channel). The Bluetooth indicator on the master speaker will flash, while the slave speaker's indicator will be solid.
- Now, connect your device to the master speaker via Bluetooth as described in Section 3.2.
4. Operating Your Speaker

- Adjust Brightness: Press the Lamp Power button (5) repeatedly to cycle through different brightness levels (4 dimming capabilities).
4.4 Volume Control
- Increase Volume: Press the Volume Up button (3).
- Decrease Volume: Press the Volume Down button (2).
