Setup and Installation
The Empava 30-inch Gas Cooktop is designed for built-in installation. It is LPG/NG convertible, with both nozzles included, delivering the same maximum BTU power for both propane and natural gas. It can work manually without electricity, making it suitable for various settings such as RVs, light cooking families, small kitchens, mobile homes, and outdoor use. This cooktop is compatible to install above any Empava 24/30-inch under-counter single wall oven.

Operating Instructions
Your Empava gas cooktop features 5 World Class Made in Italy SABAF sealed burners, offering a range of heat outputs for diverse cooking needs. The electronic ignition system provides quick and reliable startup.

Burner Operation
- Ensure all burner components are correctly assembled.
- Push down and turn the desired control knob counter-clockwise to the 'High' position.
- The burner will ignite automatically. Hold the knob down for a few seconds to allow the flame failure thermocouple to activate.
- Adjust the flame size by turning the knob between 'High' and 'Low' settings.
- To turn off, turn the knob clockwise to the 'OFF' position.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning of your Empava gas cooktop will ensure its longevity and maintain its pristine appearance. The sealed burners prevent food from falling into them, simplifying cleanup. The durable knobs and laser-cut square-shape heavy cast iron grates are dishwasher safe for hassle-free cleaning.

Cleaning Procedure
- Ensure the cooktop is completely cool before cleaning.
- Remove all grates and burner caps.
- For stainless steel surfaces, use a stainless steel cleaner or a solution of hot soapy water and a microfiber cloth. Clean in a circular motion to avoid streaks.
- For grates and burner caps, wash with hot soapy water or place them in the dishwasher.
- Dry all components thoroughly before reassembling.
