Introduction

Setup Instructions
- Connect to Host Device: Plug the USB-C connector of the adapter into a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) port on your compatible Mac or iPad.
- Connect to Display: Connect an HDMI cable (sold separately) from your HDMI-enabled TV, projector, or monitor to the HDMI port on the adapter.
- Connect USB Devices (Optional): If desired, connect a standard USB device (e.g., flash drive, camera, keyboard, mouse) to the USB-A port on the adapter.
- Connect Power (Optional): To charge your Mac or iPad while using the adapter, connect a USB-C charging cable to the USB-C port on the adapter, and then connect the other end to a power adapter.
Your device should automatically detect the connected display. You may need to adjust display settings on your Mac or iPad for mirroring or extended desktop modes.
Operating Instructions
Display Mirroring and Extension
Once connected, your Mac or iPad display can be mirrored to the external HDMI display. For Mac, you can also use the external display as an extended desktop. Adjust these settings in your device's Display Preferences.
USB Device Connectivity
The standard USB-A port supports various USB devices. For data transfer, ensure the device is compatible with your Mac or iPad. For charging iOS devices, connect them via their standard USB cable to the adapter's USB-A port.
Charging
The USB-C port on the adapter can pass through power to charge your Mac or iPad. Connect your device's original USB-C charging cable and power adapter to the adapter's USB-C port to enable charging.

Troubleshooting
