Installation Instructions
Follow these steps carefully for optimal application of the screen protector.
- Clean the Device Screen: Use the provided microfiber cleaning cloth to thoroughly clean the screen of your Leica Icon CC80. Ensure all dust, smudges, and fingerprints are removed. For stubborn marks, a small amount of screen cleaner can be used, but ensure the screen is completely dry before proceeding.
- Remove Dust: Use the dust removing sticker to lift any remaining dust particles from the screen. Lightly dab the sticker across the screen surface.
- Align the Protector: Carefully peel back a small portion of the protective film from the screen protector (usually marked "Step 1" or similar). Align the exposed edge of the screen protector with one edge of your device's screen. Take care to align cutouts for cameras or sensors if present.
- Apply Gradually: Slowly peel back the rest of the protective film while simultaneously applying the screen protector to the device screen. Use the applicator card to gently smooth out any air bubbles as you go. Work from the aligned edge outwards.
- Remove Air Bubbles: If air bubbles remain, use the applicator card to push them towards the nearest edge of the screen. Apply firm, even pressure.
- Remove Top Film: Once the screen protector is fully adhered and free of bubbles, carefully peel off the top protective film (usually marked "Step 2" or similar).
- Final Wipe: Give the newly installed screen protector a final wipe with the microfiber cloth to remove any smudges from handling.
