5. Setup
- Connect Air Hose: Attach your air compressor hose to the fast joint connector at the bottom of the airbrush handle. Ensure a secure connection to prevent air leaks.
- Attach Paint Cup: Select either the 7CC or 10CC paint cup and securely screw it onto the top of the airbrush body.
- Prepare Paint: Dilute your paint to the appropriate consistency for airbrushing. The ideal consistency is similar to milk. Test on a scrap surface before applying to your project.
- Fill Paint Cup: Carefully pour the prepared paint into the attached paint cup. Do not overfill.

6. Operating Instructions
The Hztyyier Model 166 airbrush features a comfortable trigger design and adjustable controls for precise application.
- Power On: Turn on your air compressor and set the working pressure between 15-50 psi. Do not exceed 50 psi.
- Hold the Airbrush: Grip the airbrush comfortably. The gun trigger switch is designed for ease of use during extended operation.
- Initiate Spray: Press the trigger to release air. Pull the trigger back further to release paint. The further back you pull, the more paint will be released.
- Adjust Spray Pattern: The adjustable tail handle allows you to control the spray area, thickness, and atomization size. Rotate the tail handle to fine-tune your spray.
- Spraying Technique: Maintain a spraying distance of 50-100mm (1.97-3.94 inches) from your target surface. The side-feed design allows for spraying at various angles, including upward, vertical, and downward, without obstructing your view.

7. Maintenance
Proper cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity and performance of your airbrush.
- Immediate Cleaning: After each use, especially when changing colors or finishing a session, immediately clean the airbrush.
- Empty Paint Cup: Empty any remaining paint from the cup.
- Flush with Cleaner: Fill the paint cup with an appropriate airbrush cleaner or solvent for your paint type. Spray the cleaner through the airbrush until it runs clear.
- Disassemble and Clean: For thorough cleaning, carefully disassemble the nozzle, needle, and paint cup. Use a small brush and cleaner to remove all paint residue from these components.
- Reassemble: Once all parts are clean and dry, carefully reassemble the airbrush. Do not overtighten components.
- Lubrication: Apply a small amount of airbrush-specific lubricant to the needle packing and trigger mechanism periodically.
