2. Safety Information

  • Ensure all connections are secure before powering on the system.

4. Setup

4.1 Mounting the Speakers

The speakers come with swivel brackets for versatile mounting. These brackets allow up to 180-degree rotation, enabling vertical or horizontal positioning for optimal sound direction.

  1. Attach the mounting bracket to your desired surface (wall, ceiling, etc.) using appropriate screws or nails (not included). Ensure the surface can support the weight of the speaker.
  2. Align the speaker with the bracket and secure it using the provided knob. Tighten the knob to fix the speaker's position.
  3. Adjust the speaker angle as needed and re-tighten the knob to lock it in place.

4.2 Wiring and Power Connection

  1. Connect the speaker cables to the speaker terminals on the back of each speaker. Ensure red wire connects to the red (+) terminal and black wire to the black (-) terminal.
  2. Connect the other end of the speaker cables to the 'Speaker Out Socket' on the Bluetooth amplifier. Match positive and negative terminals correctly.
  3. Connect the provided power supply to the 'DC 19V IN' port on the amplifier and plug it into a power outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Press the 'Power ON/OFF' switch on the amplifier to turn the unit on or off. The LED indicator will light up.

5.2 Input Mode Selection

Use the 'Mode Switch' button on the amplifier to cycle through available input modes: Bluetooth (BT), Digital Optical (OPTICAL), and 3.5mm AUX (AUX). The corresponding LED indicator will illuminate.

5.3 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Switch the amplifier to Bluetooth mode. The Bluetooth LED indicator will blink, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  2. On your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device, search for available Bluetooth devices.
  3. Select 'pohopa EF-B260' from the list to pair. Once connected, the Bluetooth LED indicator will become solid.
  4. You can now stream audio wirelessly to your speakers.

5.4 Wired Connections

  • Digital Optical: Connect a digital optical cable from your TV or CD/DVD player to the 'Digital Optical IN' port on the amplifier. Select 'OPTICAL' mode.
  • 3.5mm AUX: Connect a 3.5mm audio cable from your device (e.g., PC) to the '3.5mm Aux IN' port on the amplifier. Select 'AUX' mode.

5.5 Volume Control

Rotate the 'Volume Control' knob on the amplifier to adjust the audio output level.

6. Maintenance

  • The speakers are designed with IPX5 waterproof rating and all-weather durability. They can withstand rain, snow, and other outdoor elements.
  • Regularly inspect speaker cables for any signs of wear or damage, especially in outdoor installations.
  • Clean the speaker grilles and cabinet with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Ensure the amplifier is protected from direct exposure to water.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No Sound:
    • Check if the amplifier is powered on and the correct input mode is selected.
    • Verify all speaker cable connections are secure and correctly matched (+/-).
    • Ensure the volume is turned up on both the amplifier and your audio source device.
  • Bluetooth Pairing Issues:
    • Make sure the amplifier is in Bluetooth pairing mode (blinking LED).
    • Ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and within the 100ft range.
    • Try forgetting the device from your Bluetooth settings and re-pairing.
  • Distorted Sound:
    • Reduce the volume on both the amplifier and the audio source.
    • Check for damaged cables or loose connections.
