- Close the grill lid.
- Press the power button on the control panel. The preheating indicator light will illuminate.
- Wait for the grill to preheat. The indicator light will change or a sound will signal when preheating is complete and the grill is ready for cooking. This typically takes a few minutes.
5.2 Cooking
- Once preheated, open the grill lid.
- Place your food directly onto the lower cooking plate. Do not overload the grill.
- Close the lid. The grill will automatically adjust cooking time and temperature based on the thickness of the food.
- Monitor the cooking progress using the indicator lights on the control panel, which typically show stages like "Rare," "Medium Rare," "Medium Well," and "Well Done."
- When your desired cooking level is reached, open the lid and carefully remove the food using heat-resistant utensils.
- If cooking multiple batches, close the lid to allow the grill to re-preheat if necessary.
5.3 Manual Mode (if available)
Some models may feature a manual mode for custom temperature control. Refer to the control panel for specific manual settings if desired.
6. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your grill.

- Remove Drip Tray: Carefully slide out the drip tray and empty any accumulated grease. Wash it with warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry.
- Clean Cooking Plates: The non-stick cooking plates are removable. Once cool, detach them from the grill. Wash them with warm, soapy water using a non-abrasive sponge. For stubborn residue, soak the plates for a few minutes before cleaning. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Do not use metal scouring pads or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the non-stick coating.
- Clean Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the grill with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the main unit in water.
- Storage: Once clean and dry, reassemble the grill. Store it in a clean, dry place.
