Setup
Battery Installation
The Kilo 1000 uses a Lithium (CR-1/3N, CR2, 3V, disposable) battery. To install or replace the battery:

Ranging a Target

For continuous ranging of multiple targets or moving targets, activate HyperScan mode:
- Press and hold the power/range button.
- Pan the rangefinder across the targets. The display will update 4 times per second, providing real-time distance readings.
- Release the button to exit scan mode.
Angle Modified Range (AMR) / Line of Sight (LOS)
The Kilo 1000 can provide both Line of Sight (direct distance) and Angle Modified Range (compensated distance for incline/decline). Consult the device's internal menu or mode settings to switch between these display options based on your specific needs.
