  • Heavy Appliance: Use two or more people to move and install the refrigerator. Failure to do so can result in back or other injury.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Unpacking Your Refrigerator

Remove all packaging materials, tape, and protective film from the refrigerator. Dispose of packaging materials properly. Ensure no parts are missing or damaged. Keep packaging materials away from children.

3.2 Location Requirements

Select a location near a grounded electrical outlet. For proper air circulation and efficient operation, allow adequate space around the refrigerator. The counter-depth design allows it to fit nearly flush with cabinets and counters.

  • Dimensions: 69 1/2 inches (H) x 35 3/4 inches (W) x 30 3/4 inches (D).
  • Ensure the floor is level and strong enough to support the refrigerator when fully loaded.

3.4 Water Line Connection (for Ice Maker & Dispenser)

A cold water supply is required for the ice maker and water dispenser. It is recommended to have a qualified plumber install the water line. Ensure the water supply is turned off before making connections. Use only new water supply lines.

3.5 Electrical Connection

Plug the refrigerator into a dedicated, grounded 3-prong outlet. Do not use an extension cord or adapter. Ensure the electrical supply matches the requirements listed on the appliance's rating label.

3.6 Initial Cooling

After connecting power, allow the refrigerator to cool for at least 4 hours before loading food. The freezer section will reach its optimal temperature first, followed by the fresh food section.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Panel and Temperature Settings

The electronic display on the external dispenser allows for precise temperature settings for both the freezer and refrigerator compartments. The recommended factory settings are 0°F (-17.8°C) for the freezer and 37°F (2.8°C) for the refrigerator.

Clean the interior regularly with a solution of baking soda and warm water (1 tablespoon baking soda to 1 quart water). Rinse thoroughly and dry. Remove shelves and drawers for easier cleaning.

5.3 Water Filter Replacement

The Advanced Water Filtration system reduces impurities, lead, and trace pharmaceuticals from water and ice. Replace the water filter cartridge approximately every six months, or when the filter indicator light illuminates on the control panel, to ensure optimal filtration performance.
