3.1 Compatibility

This switch is compatible with standard 7/8 inch (22mm) diameter handlebars found on many 50cc-150cc ATVs and Quad 4 Wheelers, including models from Taotao, SunL, Peace, Yamoto, Eagle, Cool Sports, BMX, JCL, Roketa, Kazuma, Loncin, Kan Tai, and Wildfire.

3.2 Connectors

The assembly features an 8-wire harness with a 2-pin male plug and a 6-pin male plug. Ensure your vehicle's wiring harness has corresponding female receptacles for proper connection.

4. Installation

Follow these steps for installing the Left Handlebar Switch Assembly:

  1. Preparation: Ensure the vehicle's ignition is off and the battery is disconnected.

5. Operating Instructions

The MTATCN Left Handlebar Switch Assembly provides three primary functions:

  • Engine Kill Switch (Top Red Button): Press this button to immediately stop the engine. This is a safety feature.
  • Headlight Control (Middle Black Toggle Switch): Slide this switch to select between low beam and high beam for the headlights.
  • Electric Starter (Bottom Red Button): Press and hold this button to engage the electric starter and start the engine. Ensure the kill switch is in the 'run' position before attempting to start.
