- Mount Switch: Gently push the wired switch into the wall box and secure it with screws. Attach the new wall plate.
- Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker. The smart switch's indicator light should begin to flash, indicating it's ready for pairing.
2. App Download and Connection
- Download App: Download the free "Smart Life" app from the Apple App Store (for iOS 8.0 and above) or Google Play Store (for Android 4.4 and above).
- Register/Login: Open the app and register for a new account or log in if you already have one.
- Add Device: Tap the "+" icon in the top right corner of the app to add a new device. Select "Electrical" then "Switch (Wi-Fi)".
- Confirm Indicator: Confirm that the indicator light on the smart switch is rapidly flashing. If not, press and hold the switch button for 5-10 seconds until it flashes rapidly.
