2. Setup

2.1 Unboxing and Initial Preparation

Before operating your Mooka Air Purifier, it is essential to remove the protective plastic bag from the multi-filters inside the unit. Follow these steps:

  1. Hold down the lock on the bottom of the cover and pull on both sides to release the front cover.
  2. Pull up the cover as shown in the picture to fully remove it.
  3. Carefully remove the front cover.
  4. Remove the old filter and insert a new one (if applicable) with the filter handle towards the outside. Ensure the filter is free from any plastic packaging.
  5. Replace the cover by first placing the upper part of the cover at the top of the appliance and then closing it shut.
  6. When the cover is fixed in place, you will hear a click sound.

2.2 Placement

Place the air purifier on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit (at least 6 inches) for proper air circulation. Avoid placing it directly against walls or furniture that might obstruct air intake or output.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Control Panel and Display

The Mooka Air Purifier features an intuitive control panel located on the top of the unit. All functions can be accessed via touch controls or the included remote control.

3.2 Power On/Off

Press the On/Off button on the control panel or remote to turn the unit on or off.

3.3 Fan Speed Adjustment

The unit offers multiple fan speed settings to suit your needs:

  • Sleep Mode: Provides ultra-quiet operation (approx. 23dB) for undisturbed rest. The display lights can be turned off in this mode.
  • Medium Speed: Ideal for daily purification in moderately sized rooms.
  • High Speed: For rapid air purification in larger areas or when air quality is poor.

Press the Fan Speed button repeatedly to cycle through the available speeds.

3.4 Timer Function

Set the operating time for 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours using the Timer button. The unit will automatically turn off once the set time has elapsed.

3.5 Auto Mode and Air Quality Sensor

The built-in smoke and odor sensor allows the air purifier to operate in Auto Mode. In this mode, the unit automatically adjusts the fan speed based on the detected air quality. The LED light ring on the top indicates the current air quality:

  • Blue: Good Air Quality
  • Green: Moderate Air Quality
  • Red: Poor Air Quality

This feature ensures efficient purification, gearing up when needed (e.g., during cooking or presence of smoke) and saving energy when air quality is good.

3.6 Ionizer Function

The negative ion generator helps accelerate the filtration and deposition of dust and other air particles. Press the Ionizer button to activate or deactivate this function.

3.7 Remote Control

The included remote control allows you to conveniently operate all functions of the air purifier from a distance, including power, fan speed, timer, UV light, and ionizer.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Filter Replacement

The air purifier is equipped with a filter replacement reminder. When the filter needs to be replaced, an indicator light will illuminate. It is recommended to replace the filter every 6-8 months, depending on usage and air quality. Replacement filters can be found by searching for model B081RJNPFR.

To replace the filter, follow the steps outlined in the "Setup" section (2.1 Unboxing and Initial Preparation).

4.2 Cleaning the Unit

Regularly wipe the exterior of the air purifier with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the unit is unplugged before cleaning.

  • Unit does not turn on:
    • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
    • Check if the front cover is properly closed and clicked into place.
    • Verify that the filter is correctly installed and free from plastic packaging.
  • Reduced airflow or unusual noise:
    • Check if the filter needs replacement. A clogged filter can restrict airflow and cause noise.
    • Ensure there are no obstructions around the air intake or output vents.
    • Verify the unit is placed on a stable, flat surface to prevent vibrations.
  • Air quality indicator always red/green/blue:
    • Clean the air quality sensor. Refer to the full manual for sensor cleaning instructions (if available).
    • Ensure the room is not excessively dusty or has strong odors if the indicator remains red.
  • Remote control not working:
    • Check and replace the battery in the remote control.
    • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the unit.
