- Install Nozzle: Attach the fuel nozzle to the end of the discharge hose, securing it with a hose clamp.
- Positioning: Place the pump on a stable, level surface. Ensure the suction hose is fully submerged in the fuel source and the discharge hose is directed to the receiving tank.
4. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for safe and effective fuel transfer.
- Verify Connections: Double-check all hose connections and fittings to ensure they are tight and leak-free.
- Power Connection: Plug the pump's power cord into a grounded 110V AC electrical outlet.
- Initiate Transfer: Turn on the pump using the power switch. The pump is self-priming, so it should begin drawing fuel shortly.
- Monitor Flow: Observe the fuel transfer. The pump has a flow rate of 15 GPM.
- Stop Transfer: Once the desired amount of fuel has been transferred, turn off the pump using the power switch and disconnect it from the power source.
