4. Setup
4.1. Battery Installation
The HS512C uses a single CR2032 battery. The battery compartment is located on the side of the optic. Use the provided tool or a small coin to open the battery tray, insert the CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up, and securely close the tray.
4.2. Mounting the Sight
The Holosun HS512C is designed for a Weaver Mount system. Ensure your firearm has a compatible rail. Loosen the mounting screw or lever on the sight, align the sight with the rail, and then tighten the screw or engage the lever until the sight is securely fastened. Do not overtighten.

4.3. Zeroing and Adjustments
The HS512C features windage and elevation adjustment turrets. These turrets are typically covered by protective caps. Remove the caps to access the adjustment mechanisms. Each click of the adjustment corresponds to a specific change in point of impact (e.g., 1/2 MOA per click). Turn the turrets as needed to zero your sight to your firearm at your desired distance.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Power On/Off
The HS512C features Shake Awake technology. The optic will automatically turn on with slight movement or vibration. To manually turn the sight on, press either the "+" or "-" button. To manually turn the sight off, press and hold both the "+" and "-" buttons simultaneously for approximately 3 seconds.
5.2. Brightness Adjustment
Use the "+" button to increase brightness and the "-" button to decrease brightness. There are 12 brightness settings available, including 10 for daylight use and 2 for night vision compatibility.

5.3. Reticle Selection
The Multi-Reticle System (MRS) allows you to switch between different reticle options. Press and hold the "-" button for approximately 3 seconds to cycle through the available reticles: 65 MOA circle with 2 MOA dot, 2 MOA dot only, or 65 MOA ring only.
5.4. Solar Failsafe
The integrated solar panel provides power to the optic in bright light conditions, extending battery life. In sufficient ambient light, the sight can operate without battery power. The brightness of the reticle will automatically adjust based on the ambient light detected by the solar panel when in automatic mode.
6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning
To clean the lenses, use the provided lens cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn smudges, a small amount of lens cleaning solution designed for optics can be applied to the cloth, not directly to the lens. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
6.2. Battery Replacement
